She used to work for a Microfinance Bank. Now she works from home
This story brought me to tears
Let me tell you about one of my students.
Every morning, she would leave her house, walk under the sun, and go door to door trying to collect loan repayments for a microfinance bank.
Most days, the people weren't home. Or they were home and just said they didn't have the money. And she would go back to the office empty-handed.
You know what happened next? The company deducted the shortfall from her salary. Her ₦80,000 salary.
So she's working. She's showing up. She's doing everything she's supposed to do. And she's still going home with less than she started with.
I don't know about you, but that made me angry when she told me.
She joined VASP, and I want to be honest, she wasn't sure it would work for her. She had tried things before. She had been disappointed before. So she came in with one foot in and one foot out.
But she showed up. Every week. She did the tasks. She learned SMM and later added Ghostwriting, two skills she had zero experience with before the program.
And now?
She works from home. She earns a consistent income. She is not walking under any sun, collecting anybody's debt.

I'm not telling you this to make you emotional. I'm telling you this because I know some of you reading this right now are in a situation that feels just as stuck. Maybe it's not a microfinance bank. Maybe it's a job that's eating your time and your peace and still not paying you enough. Maybe it's depending on someone else for money and hating how that feels.
The question is not whether this works. IT WORKS!
The question is whether you're going to keep watching other people change their lives or finally do something about yours.
Wave 8 starts March 13th. Registration is open now.
I can't wait to see you inside, Neighbor.
