When I Started YouTube

Back in July 2022, I decided to FINALLY start my YouTube channel after years of planning, overthinking, procrastinating, waiting for the perfect time - I finally clicked “upload! It’s been two years of creating, learning, and growing. I started my channel with a simple goal: to share valuable content and hopefully make a little money on the side. Little did I know, this journey would be both challenging and incredibly rewarding.

When I Got Accepted into the YouTube Partnership Program

Fast forward to February 2024, after months of hard work and dedication, I received the exciting news that I had been accepted into the YouTube Partnership Program! This was a huge milestone for me. It meant that I could finally start earning from my videos. All those late nights editing and brainstorming ideas were starting to pay off.

When My Channel Started Running Ads

By April 2024, my channel began running ads. This was a game-changer. Seeing those ads play before, during, or after my videos felt like a dream come true. Now, you might be wondering, is YouTube really worth all the effort? The short answer is: absolutely. But, it’s not just about the money. YouTube has given me a platform to express myself, connect with amazing people, and learn new skills. The financial rewards are a bonus. It’s important to be patient and persistent because the growth can be slow at times, but the journey is incredibly fulfilling.

Besides AdSense revenue, I’ve also made money through brand partnerships, affiliate marketing, and consultations.
